29-Jun-06 After months of "combat crawl", david starts crawling on all fours (now he uses his knees).  He also starts rolling into and out of sitting position, by himself. Development Milestone

02-Apr-06 David starts "combat crawl" - pulling himself with his arms, but keeping his feet crossed behind his ankles, so unable to push with his legs. Development Milestone
23-Mar-06 David is mobile!  He "crawls" like a penguin (legs only), but between that and rolling over his sides he can pretty much get anywhere. Development Milestone

08-Nov-05 Fly back to Fort Lauderdale from New York; we find that  Wilma had broken the trunk of one of our palm trees and destroyed two banana trees. Travel Natural Disaster
07-Nov-05 David flips over from his belly to his back, three times in a row.  He has his first sustained, intended smile, when played with.  After two weeks, electricity has been restored to our house in Fort Lauderdale. Development Milestone
01-Nov-05 9:30 PM - though only six weeks old, David turns over from his belly to his back, over the left shoulder. Development Milestone
30-Oct-05 Throughout the week Meirav and Radu's family and friends from New York get to meet David.  On this Sunday, with many of "The Crew" at hand, David has his Pidyon HaBen ceremony. Ceremony Party
24-Oct-05 Wilma strikes hard at Fort Lauderdale.  There is structural damage to older buildings.  Electricity is down for 3.2 million customers in Florida and the worst damage is in Broward County (worst damage in Broward County is in Fort Lauderdale). Natural Disaster  
19-Oct-05 We fly to New York.  We had purchased tickets the day before (Tuesday), after deciding that Wilma could create huge problems for Fort Lauderdale.  Upon arrival in New York we found the crib ordered for David had been delivered.  We also found out that the Travel Natural Disaster

30-Sep-05 David's circumcision ring detaches itself. Development Milestone
28-Sep-05 First visit to Dr Relkin.  In the afternoon David vomits; Radu calls 911 and we have the whole show with EMS, police, and fire fighters.  We take David to see Dr. Relkin again in the afternoon, right after the vomiting incident.  All is fine, of course. Health Checkup

22-Sep-05 David's birth at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, at 4:18 PM. He is 8lbs 10oz (3,881kg) and 21.5in (54,61cm) long. Development Milestone
