2007 March - Framing Our New House In Chapel Hill
Home Up Our Kids News About Us Contact Us

We went on a trip to Chapel Hill (North Carolina) to choose materials for the house we're building there.  The frame of the house is almost done and we're so excited to see in three dimensions the space we've been dreaming about from house plans for the last year.  Construction started in January and we hope to have everything finished at the beginning of 2008.

Our new house will be in the woods.

For a change, we'll be entering the house mostly through the garage.

The house has two levels.

The basement will be open only towards the back of the house.

Through large windows we'll have a view of the forest.
