We're traversing a fall like none before - we live in the middle of the woods as the leaves are turning into a rainbow.  It will look sad once all these leaves are gone, but we'll be able to see deer even farther from our house.

This past Monday was the first night all three children's beds were in the same room.  As with Maya's joining David a year ago, this transition is going smoothly.  Ella - who used to fuss till midnight, especially if there was no light in her room, is now asleep within fifteen minutes.  David and Maya had a blast at Halloween, especially when knocking on neighbors' doors.  We also discovered they have a sweet tooth, after all (but Maya started eating tomatoes, pepper, and even cucumber the last few days; broccoli was already one of her favorites).

As you'll see from the last few pictures on this page, things will get a lot more interesting around here, now that Ella is joining David and Maya's WWF league.
